On October 14, with the joint efforts of the Alexander Feldman Museum and the Sofia Kievskaya National Reserve, the exhibition "Cossack Veil" was opened. Kievans and guests of the capital will be shown a rare collection of ancient Cossack weapons and a ring-seal of Cossack foreman. The oldest artifacts are the same age as the foundation of the Zaporizhzhya Sich. The exhibits from the collection of the public figure, philanthropist and collector Alexander Feldman are really hard to overestimate - these are priceless relics of the Cossacks. The weapons that Ukrainian soldiers have held in their hands for centuries, gaining our freedom.
The name of the project speaks for itself. From time immemorial, the Cossacks considered the Feast of the Intercession their intercessor. The exhibition is dedicated to all Ukrainian soldiers who at different times did a common thing. In the exhibition halls of the Khlebnaya Gallery on the territory of the Sophia Kievskaya National Reserve, more than 50 edged weapons will be presented: sabers, scimitars, knives, daggers, spearheads, sixth, feathers, etc.
In addition, visitors will be shown ring-seals of Cossack foreman and even a cannon of the late 16th century. The project will conduct various events: lectures, workshops, film screenings, discussions, and thematic tours.
